Preservation

Aiming at sustainable development and strengthening the business philosophy of respecting the environment, Goiasa bets on the formation of new areas of native vegetation in its own areas and in agricultural partnership.

Chafariz Project

The Chafariz Project aims to recover and conserve 33 springs in the Ribeirão Bom Jesus micro-basin. The initiative aims to increase biodiversity and ensure greater water availability, promoting the balance of local ecosystems.

Inspired by Goiasa's values — such as Participatory Administration, Competitiveness, Integration with the Community and Respect for the Environment — the project reaffirms the commitment to sustainability and collective well-being.

Continuing Goiasa's reforestation program, which has already planted around 400,000 seedlings using techniques aimed at cerrado fauna, the project monitors the development of reforested areas by measuring biodiversity.

And it doesn't stop there! The Fountain also has a range of actions that contribute to the abundance of water in the region and the increase in natural habitats, attracting fauna and providing ecological balance and richness in local biodiversity.

Seeking socio-environmental strengthening, the Project will also rely on partnerships between Educational and Research Institutions, public and private bodies, being a fundamental part of the surrounding Communities through Environmental Education. With the springs protected, it is possible to solve the problem of water scarcity in a sustainable, economical and perfectly viable way.
